A Pair of Ducks on Lake Sihl

This is probably the last picture that Fritz painted. He had an idea for a picture which he was obviously no longer able to realize with the brush in his weakened hands. This is probably why he used colored pencils for the lake and the willows in the background, something he hardly ever did otherwise. This is unfortunate because, as you can see here, Fritz was also a master of colored pencil drawing.
