Conference of the Penguins

In the late 1960s, Fritz produced a series of small monochrome lithographs. This print shows four king or emperor penguins against a hinted Arctic background. The group gives the impression that they are in the middle of an important meeting. As so often when Fritz picked up his brush and ink, one senses the elegant power and confidence of his strokes.
