Chatty Picture

When all four large species of macaw are next to each other in a picture, the motif is obviously posed and not taken somewhere in a South American jungle. The scarlet macaw tends to live further north, the great green macaw further west than the green-winged macaw and the blue-and-yellow macaw, which share their habitat in Brazil. Fritz’s aim was probably to show the differences in color between the four species. The result is a very cheerful and colorful picture.
