Bee-Eaters

Bee-eaters prefer warm countries, for example in sub-Saharan Africa. However, some species migrate to Europe every summer, where they sometimes fly as far as southern Germany to raise their brood. Fritz was lucky enough to encounter these birds, which often live together in very large groups, in Cadaquès in south-eastern Spain, where this colorful picture has been created.
