Gulls in the Winter Wind

Black-headed gulls are acrobatic flyers and often travel in large clusters. In this fantastic picture, an obviously noisy group is being carried across the lake by the wind, while a rather weak winter sun reflected in the lake water illuminates the whole scene in gray-blue pastel tones.
