Wood Pigeon Nest

Pigeons have a bad reputation. Although being different from the city pigeon, the so-called “rat of the air”, wood pigeons still frequently live in cities and other settlements. Pigeons are highly sensitive animals with an almost unique sense of direction. This picture is interesting in terms of color, because the plumage of the parent birds, a composite of purple, blue and reddish brown, stands out strikingly against the green tones of the background.
