This picture is yet another example of Fritz’s mastery with brush and watercolor. Just a few strokes of black and a few dabs of blue, yet a perfect rendition of this legendary bird. In popular belief, the raven stands for bad luck. Probably because of its gloomy appearance, crowing voice and habit of eating carrion, the clever bird is not very popular.
