Description
Pike and Lake Trout, oil on concrete
6 x 2.15 m
Creation year
1977
In 1977, Fritz was commissioned to paint the concrete walls of the Buhn swimming hall in Zurich. Fritz painted the most common fish species found in Swiss waters on a wall almost 19 meters long. Because this monumental work is difficult to display on screens, we have photographed it in several separate images. Lake trout and pike, two of Switzerland’s largest predatory fish, can be seen on this part of the concrete wall.
To get an impression of the total size, the mural is shown here in its entirety.
