Description
Carp, Eel and Common Nase, oil on concrete
6.2 x 2.15 m
Creation year
1977
In 1977, Fritz was commissioned to paint the concrete walls of the Buhn swimming hall in Zurich. Fritz painted the most common fish species found in Swiss waters on a wall measuring almost 19 meters in length. Because this monumental work is difficult to display on screens, we have photographed it in several separate images. This section shows a carp, an eel, and three common nase.
To get an impression of the total size, the mural is shown here in its entirety.
