The topic of flower pollination by insects occupied Fritz intensively on several occasions. It is also part of the cycle of reproduction and thus part of creation, in which Fritz believed. The present motif is a close-up of a bumblebee feeding on nectar from an apple blossom and pollinating the flower in the process. In the new millennium, the topic of insect extinction has suddenly made this work, which was previously difficult to convey, quite popular.
