Bee Visit

Fritz has repeatedly explored the theme of pollination by bees and bumblebees. He created the present motif, a detailed view of an apple tree in blossom and three bees searching for nectar and pollen, both as a lithograph and as an oil painting. The subject of bee mortality in the new millennium has suddenly made this work, which was previously rather difficult to communicate, quite popular.
