The second time Fritz was invited to show his work in Zurich’s Helmhaus, in 1979, it was an exhibition to mark the 50th anniversary of Zurich Zoo. Fritz himself described the exhibition in the following words: “For this celebration I wanted to create something big, a Gesamtkunstwerk: a comprehensive, well-rounded exhibition that would summarize my previous painting experiences and observations at the zoo, I gave it my full effort and tried to do my best.”
