Northern Lynx

This lithograph of a northern lynx looks fine and airy, almost like a watercolor. A charcoal drawing consisting of just a few strokes, but very precisely placed, underlaid with only a little color, especially on the animal’s head and back. The cat’s paws look huge, but they are like that in real life so that the animal can move safely in the wintry landscape and not sink into the snow.
