Cougars are very adaptable: they live at sea level as well as high in the Rocky Mountains, at the equator as well as in northern Canada. This determined-looking cougar is obviously on the move in a colder region. The pale winter sun and the snow-covered landscape make the viewer shiver. The bold colors of the animal’s body form a strong contrast to the background, while its colors are reflected in the eyes and chest.
