The expression on this baby jaguar’s face, somewhat uncertain and puzzled, can be read in an almost human way. One somehow seems to empathize with what the young animal is feeling. Fritz worked on this wonderful motif also as a small lithograph and as a charcoal drawing. He liked the latter so much that he used it on his stationery for several years.
