Three Fox Cubs in a Circle

Three Fox Cubs in a Circle

Description

Three Fox Cubs in a Circle, from the picture book of Fritz and Margrit Hug “Animals of the Bible – Of Fowl and of Cattle after their Kind”

Creation year

1968

Foxes are rather unpopular animals. They are considered cunning and have always been known for stealing chickens and geese. Fritz, however, loved foxes and drew, lithographed or painted them countless times. The motif of three young foxes tussling also exists in several versions. This version comes from the picture book “The Animals of the Bible” and is particularly well done.
