Young Chimpanzee “Attention please!”

Fritz published many of his oil paintings later on as greeting cards, but rarely a watercolor. The picture of this young chimpanzee, however, seemed suitable for this purpose. Probably not simply because it is a particularly well-made watercolor, but also because the young monkey looks as if he is holding up his hand to make some important announcement. The work was given the title “Attention please!” only later as a greeting card.
