“When water flows over seven stones, it is pure again,” says a German proverb. This picture of a murmuring mountain stream illustrates the process perfectly. One would probably drink water from this stream without hesitation. As is often the case with Fritz, animals cannot be left out: with a grey wagtail, a white wagtail, and a dipper, three species of birds are depicted that typically seek out the vicinity of flowing waters.
