Regatta on Lake Constance

Fritz was a guest several times for a diet week at the Kurhaus Schloss Mammern, where he was given little to eat for a lot of money. While there, he painted some wonderful oil sketches on painting cardboard, which he often just threw down in a short period of time. This picture of a sailing regatta on Lake Constance, painted in the style of an Impressionist, was created outdoors on a single summer afternoon.
