October Snow in the Blenio Valley

Fritz discovered the Blenio Valley for himself in the 1970s. Several times he painted the old stone house where he used to stay. This picture shows the house in late fall, the first snow has already fallen. Starlings are gathering on the telephone wires in front of the house, probably about to set off on their annual journey south.
