The picture shows a Simmental cow on an alp against the spectacular backdrop of the mountain panorama with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. This almost monumental work, which Fritz dedicated to some of his favorite painters, is still waiting for the right place in a large room where it can be viewed from the right distance.
