Lac Léman et les Dents du Midi

Fritz liked to paint landscapes with mountains in the background. In this picture you can see the Rhone valley of the Valais and the mountain range of the Dents du Midi to the right. In the foreground are a few vines in the famous Lavaux region, from where the view sweeps over upper Lake Geneva. The headlands of Vevey and Montreux can be seen on the left side of the picture.
