Wild Rabbit

Fritz often liked to paint, draw or lithograph field hares, but hardly ever a rabbit. One of the rare exceptions is this lithograph, which was ordered and purchased as a complete edition of 75 copies by a british rabbit association. The sheet is therefore considered very rare. The shorter ears, the short legs and the upright sitting posture are typical of the species and distinguish the rabbit from the real hare.
