Hare on the Run

The subject of a hare on the run has often challenged Fritz. This hare runs in front of a background that is only hinted at, perhaps a body of water in front, perhaps a mown stubble field behind it. The whole image is dominated by the complementary colors yellow and blue, which gives this lithograph a special, almost somewhat exotic touch.
