Twice Abigail

As children, we were lucky enough to always have a dog in the house. In the 1970s, this was the somewhat stubborn and exceptionally pretty, tricolored basset hound Abigail, which Fritz often depicted, here in a large-format lithograph. What looks like a picture of two dogs is actually something like a study of one and the same female basset hound in two different typical poses.
