Warthog Maternité

In 1986 Fritz created a series of four lithographs showing the motherhood of African animals. While the mother animals in the elephant, the hippo and the zebra lithographs were each depicted with only one young, the warthog is zoologically correct depicted with several piglets. With the different positions of the legs, something like a movement study of the fleeing warthogs has emerged.
