Ali Baba & Co

In the 1970s, Fritz created a monochrome lithograph that he called Ali Baba & Co. Looking at the picture, it is more likely to be four of the forty thieves who also figure in the title of the oriental fairy tale. Later on he must have found the work somewhat boring, which is why he colored in a few of the sheets by hand with watercolor. It is amazing how much effect he achieved with little effort.
