Red Deer in Autumn Forest

This lithograph of a magnificent red deer is colorfully devoted entirely to the autumn forest. Almost every picture of a stag that Fritz has painted is from the autumn or early winter, because before that the antlers, which are so interesting for the draftsman, are not yet fully formed and thereafter have already been shed again.
