Giraffes for Rebecca

This picture of mother, father and newborn giraffe would not exist in the wild. Giraffe mothers are single parents, or rather they raise their children in herds with other females, while the fathers are loners outside the mating season. Fritz created this watercolor charcoal drawing as a birth announcement for his first granddaughter Rebecca.
