Etosha is a wonderful, very large nature reserve in Namibia. Although it is extremely dry and hot, it boasts a huge biodiversity with hundreds of animal and plant species. In this painting of a small herd of springbok, the midday heat is palpable. In the shimmering hot air, the graceful animals almost blur into the background of sky and parched grasslands.
